In 2011, Courtney and I attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. We didn’t yet know each other, but we both chose the same small school and lived in the same college neighborhood. At one point, I lived in the building just behind Courtney’s. We were in different majors but through mutual friends, our paths crossed more times than either of us can remember. We couldn’t have realized the opportunity that we missed out on.

After college, life carried us in different directions until… 2022, when our mutual friend Nolan moved in with me—bringing with him an unexpected toothache. Knowing that Courtney’s father was a dentist, he reached out to her inquiring about a root canal. Funnily, that simple act became the catalyst that brought us all together. Before long-and with a little liquid courage- Courtney and I found ourselves spending all our free time together.

Just one month into dating, we found an apartment and quickly moved in together. We were inseparable.

We had an incredible summer filled with laughter, adventure, good food, a LOT of dog hair, and the excitement of building a life we dreamed of creating together. Always remembering to invest in our experiences. Our adventure continues on the West Coast this fall, where Courtney’s heart and soul belong. ‘I’m a California girl,’ she says.
